Email Notifications

PingBase sends email notifications to subscribers when incidents are created, updated, or resolved, and when maintenance is scheduled.

Notification Types

Email Templates

PingBase uses professionally designed email templates that include:

  • Your status page name and branding
  • Incident title, status, and impact level
  • The latest update message
  • Affected components
  • A link to view the full incident on your status page
  • An unsubscribe link

Subscribers can customize which notifications they receive:

Incident Notifications

Receive emails when incidents are created, updated, or resolved.

Maintenance Notifications

Receive emails about scheduled maintenance windows.

Resolution Notifications

Receive emails specifically when incidents are resolved.

Component Filtering

Subscribe to notifications for specific components only.

Delivery Tracking

PingBase tracks the delivery status of every notification. You can view delivery logs in the dashboard, including sent, failed, and bounced emails. Failed deliveries are automatically retried up to 3 times with exponential backoff.
