Key Concepts
Organizations
Every PingBase account belongs to an organization. Organizations contain status pages, components, monitors, and team members. You can have multiple status pages per organization.
Components
Components represent individual services or systems (e.g., "API Server", "Database", "CDN"). Each component has a status: Operational, Degraded Performance, Partial Outage, Major Outage, or Under Maintenance.
Incidents
Incidents track service disruptions. They progress through stages: Investigating → Identified → Monitoring → Resolved. Each stage can include a message update that subscribers receive.
Monitors
Monitors automatically check your services at configurable intervals. When a monitor detects a failure, it can automatically create an incident and update the component status.
